Aikido Ryu offers you a rich and healthy life through Aikido.

Yoshinkan Aikido Ryu has a system whereby students can stay at Ryu Dojo for up to a month and study aikido with Ando Sensei.
Students sleep upstairs in the dojo and take part in the everyday life of the dojo, training alongside Ando Sensei's uchi deshi.
In this way, students can truly experience Shioda Sensei's saying that aiki soku seikatsu ("aikido and life are one").
Live-in training is also for students who want to gain a greater understanding of the spirit of aikido and to improve their aikido technique.

Qualifications	18 years or older, with some experience of Yoshinkan Aikido
Rules and Regulations	Students staying at Ryu Dojo for the first time are required to submit a letter or recommendation from their teacher. Thereafter, students are required to inform their teacher of their visit to Ryu Dojo. Application forms must be submitted at least one month in advance. It is recommended that students first check that there is space available before making any travel plans. Students staying at the dojo are expected to attend the 6am morning training class (Tuesday - Friday). Thereafter, they can decide their training schedule after discussion with Ando Sensei and his uchi deshi. Students must also submit an itinerary of their stay in Japan. Please inform us in advance of any travel or sightseeing plans that you have and of which days you will be away from the dojo. Please pay accommodation and tuition fees within 3 days of arriving at the dojo. Students who wish to take a test while at Ryu Dojo must have permission from their teacher. While staying at Ryu Dojo, students should make their aikido training their first priority.
Cost	Accommodation - ¥2,000 per day (excluding meals) Tuition - ¥2,000 per day (This allows students to attend as many classes as they wish for that day. Students can also pay on a per-class basis. Classes cost between ¥500-¥1,000.)
