BEGINNER'S CLASSES
At Ryu, beginner's classes are recommended for those with no experience of aikido or for those who may feel intimidated or overwhelmed when joining a class full of black belts. In beginner's classes at Ryu, emphasis is placed on making students feel relaxed and secure in an environment where they can train at their own pace. The basic movements of aikido and the correct way to take breakfalls without injury are thoroughly and carefully taught. Come and watch a class for yourself!

Family Club
At Yoshinkan Aikido Ryu, parents and children can enjoy learning aikido together in Family Club.
Studying aikido together provides a topic of interest in common and helps create stronger bonds between parents and children.
